Participation fees have to be paid per entry and per chosen category.


Handling fees close

iF will charge a handling fee of EUR 100.00 for contributions in the category 02. product interfaces if the contribution is submitted as an original product. This includes logistics, the running costs of the device and presentation to the jury.

Award winning fees close

iF communication design award yearbook 2010
Each entry that receives an award must be published in the iF communication design award yearbook 2010.  The fee for 1/1 page is EUR 530.00. The fee for 2/1 pages is EUR 870.00.
The iF communication design award yearbook will be published in a bilingual edition. If you are an award winner, the description of your products will have to be uploaded to the my iF area in both languages. You can commission us to have your descriptions translated for you. For this service we will charge you a fee of EUR 50.00.

iF online exhibition
Each entry that receives an award must be published in the iF online exhibition. The fee  for each individual entry is EUR 200.00.

Important note for categories 01. digital media and 03. print media: contributions to these categories can be registered for several sub-categories. These contributions will then be subject to the evaluation process by the jury for each category. If a contribution receives an award in more than one of the sub-categories, award winning fees will only be charged once.

Important note for the special category "to good to be true": contributions to this category will only be charged the registration fee. If a contribution receives an award, no further fees apply. The contributions will be published free of charge in the iF communication design yearbook 2010 and in the iF online exhibition.

VAT will be added to all fees. Since the competition takes place in Germany, all national and international contributions are subject to VAT.
